“Super 8 Carroll has a freshen look and surroundings. Room was spacious, offered both Direct TV & Roku. Area had a major snowstorm during our visit. Room microwave/refrig made it possible to have meals in our room and avoid getting out in the storm. Beds were good quality. Great pressure in shower. “It was very quiet due to the off season time and the staff was very helpful. They let us keep our bikes in our room so we didn't have to load them on our vehicle each time. Perry is a trailhead where two bike trails meet so it was great to just ride to the room, relax and start another trail the next day. We had a little trouble with our room key but that was minor. If we head back to the Raccoon River Valley Trail or High Trestle Bridge Trail, we'll check out the Super 8 again!”

“We really enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and watching the farm animals. The WRC fishing was a bit disappointing, but there was an area fishing derby the morning we arrived, so they might have been a bit timid. The house was very neat and felt very homey. The kitchen was nice, although there was a sign posted about not longer providing breakfast supplies starting in 2021. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and will most likely come back in the future.”
