Discover what it is like to live as a local in this beautiful 1,427 square foot home, located just off of Main Street in the Village of Blowing Rock, N.C. True to it's name, The Artist's Loft is located above the shop of local Silversmith and Artisan, Gaines Kiker. This lovely contemporary home features an ensuite master as well as ensuite guest room. The spacious, open concept features many windows that allow for an abundance of natural light. Open the french doors to the sun porch and enjoy a morning cup of coffee or an evening cocktail. This specialty kitchen offers stainless steel appliances, a gas range, soapstone countertops, and is fully stocked with cooking essentials to create gourmet meals. Our guest have 2 private parking spaces at the entrance to the home.
Located on a quiet street, this home offers exceptional charm and is in an unbeatable location allowing you to conveniently walk to Blowing Rock's restaurants, galleries, and boutiques. Enjoy the Blowing Rock Art and History Museum, numerous hiking trails and picnics of the Blue Ridge Parkway. We look forward to working with you!

Home away from home in great location

Lovely place that was clean, well stocked, and a great location to walk around downtown Blowing Rock. Also super close to the parkway. Owners had great communication. Cannot recommend enough and we’ll stay here again next time we’re in town!

Everything we needed. The space was spotless, well equipped, and comfortable. The hosts were very attentive and we loved the one block access to shopping, trails, and restaurants. Highly recommend.

Best Location in Blowing Rock!

Third time staying at this location, and it never disappoints. Well designed and beautifully appointed, the home is steps away from everything Blowing Rock has to offer. You can’t beat the location, as we always enjoy being within walking distance of many restaurants and shops as well as some local hikes. We will absolutely book this home again, now planning our trips to Blowing Rock specifically around its availability.

lovely loft in the village

The artist's loft was perfect for our stay. We could easily walk to everything in the village - it was quiet, immaculately clean and beautifully appointed. Private parking and quiet at night. I am DEFINITELY coming back here.

Great place to enjoy Blowing Rock

The property is very clean, spacious, comfortable, nicely decorated and perfected located just a block off main street (convenient, yet quiet). We have spent a long weekend here the past 3 years and have never had an issue. We keep coming back.

A lofty holiday

Privacy, proximity and space, space, space made the Artist Loft the perfect spot for our family holiday. A short walk to downtown and a stunning view of Christmas lights made this a magical experience. Coffee in the sunroom watching the sunrise each morning was perfect. We loved our time here and this will be our new “go to” VRBO for our future Blowing Rock visits.

Lovely loft :)

My mom and I really enjoyed our stay. The owners were very friendly, and the loft was super clean and roomy. We had zero problems, easily walked everywhere, so nice. This was a splurge for us! But the prime location with private parking, lovely and clean interior, and cozy beds and couches were worth every penny. It seems right in the center of busy downtown but was still very quiet at night. Very happy we were able to stay there!

We wanted something that was within walking distance of restaurants, shopping, etc., quiet, clean, and having our desired amenities, and this place ticked all the boxes! We were extremely impressed by the overall interior appearance and décor of the VRBO, and we were grateful to have had this place as home base while in Blowing Rock even if only for a short time.

Home away from home

We have spent the last two Christmases in this beautiful loft condo so it was our first choice to make it home base for a daughters wedding weekend:) It is lovely, roomy, well appointed and in the perfect location… steps away from a Main Street;It is never loud . The hosts are just the loveliest people and very accommodating. It is our “go to” for any visit to Blowing Rock. Highly recommend.

In the Center of Town, Close to Everything

This house was extremely cozy (the fireplace added to the cozy feel) and was located very close to the center of town and shopping, bars, and restaurants. It was extremely well-appointed and made for a very comfortable stay. The kitchen was well stocked and made making meals easy. It was great to have a washer and dryer. The owners made checking in a breeze and having two assigned parking spots meant no worries for parking when we returned after sightseeing and hiking. We would highly recommend anyone visiting Blowing Rock to make this your base.

Excellent property !

This property is fantastic!! We have been coming to Blowing Rock for 40+ years and this is by far our favorite spot ! Quality and perfection is how I would describe this condo. It is very spacious with quality linens and an awesome fully stocked kitchen with top notch appliances. The location is perfect as it is just around the corner form shopping and restaurants-all within walking distance . Just a short drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway where you will find lots of trails for hiking and beautiful scenery. Make sure to carve out some time to relax in this lovely spot …you will not want to leave !! Many thanks to the Kiker family for sharing this gem !

Hidden Gem in Town

Wow! This is a wonderful property. Only 1/2 block away from busy Main St but you do not hear any noise. The property is tastefully decorated with spacious bedrooms and family room. Owners are very responsive with any issues you might have. This is a second floor unit so you need to be able to navigate a staircase with ease. 2 parking spaces right at the door makes for easy access. We will return in the fall.

Awesome Downtown Loft

The Artist’s Loft was spectacular and exceeded our expectations. While the pictures and description online are what sold the location as a perfect getaway for my wife and myself; they truly don’t do it justice. The loft was immaculate, nicely appointed throughout and the floor plan was spacious and well designed. We would highly recommend the loft to anyone that wants to be in the heart of downtown Blowing Rock, and really don’t think there can be a better option in this price range. We have already made the easy decision that if the Artist’s Loft is available for our next trip(s) to the area, that is where we will definitely be staying. Briefly met the owners and they were very friendly and accommodating. Parking was very convenient as well, as was ease of access to the loft itself.
