“This place was newly renovated and very clean. Very spacious. Excellent location. The bed was comfortable. Owners were great and communicated clearly. They made themselves available. We will stay again.”

“Nice and cozy but need a place to unpack clothing. We stayed a week and had to live out of the suitcases… We did have a few bug issues but being n the woods some are to be expected. Outside the cottage needed to be hosed down from cobwebs, tree dropping, etc. but again being in the woods some is to be expected. Maybe put chair cushions on two bar chairs for comfort? Needed wash cloths for a week long stay. Overall we would stay again but plan better?”

“The cottage was well stocked and spotless and very welcoming. My only suggestion is that I would like the bed linens to be laundered in scent free detergent. I have allergies to many scents and I know that many share my problem. ‘We enjoyed the area and loved the cottage.”

“This cottage is the perfect blend of historic charm and modern upgrades. The view of the river is incredible, and the secluded location is just a short drive from downtown Wiscasset and Edgecomb. The sunroom is already a great place to hang out and enjoy the river view, but the owners are also putting in a lot of work to create an enjoyable outdoor space. Jeffrey is easy to work with and honestly wants you to have a good stay.”

“We spent three nights at this location, which is just a short walk from the commercial area of Boothbay Harbor. In addition to restaurants in town it is only minutes away from Robinson's Wharf, which had some of the best food we experienced in 14 days of travel - definitely the best lobster. The house was as advertised and suited our needs well.”

“I absolutely LOVED staying here and wished we had booked a longer stay! The cottage was so sweet and nice. It was exceptionally clean. The couch was wonderful and the TV was great. Parking was easy and the cottage was easy to find. It also had a great location. Kitchen was also nice. I loved the upstairs bedroom. The bed and pillows were so comfy! (I actually purchased the same pillows when I got back home). I haven't had a nice rest in a long time. Since we didn't overspend on our lodging, we……

“This is a lovely property. It was very clean, quiet, and met all our needs. A quick drive to town for shopping and restaurants. We really enjoyed the Botanical Gardens and highly recommend this stop. We took kayaks out on our own for a nice two hour trip, Capn Fishes Puffin tour provided another view of the seashore, we learned so much from the guide and did see quite a few puffin! We did not take advantage of the fire pit but it looked great.”

“This home is such a gem! A historic home that is updated with many modern conveniences. We’ve been to MANY AirB&B’s and this home was probably the best equipped we’ve been in! Convenient to Boothbay and lots of downeast inlets and harbors. Very quiet, but close to groceries, food and farm stands. Our only regret was not staying longer- we would have loved to grill and use the fire pit!”
