“The apartment is very clean, well-equipped and has enough space to feel comfortable. Only problem: it is quite noisy. The road next to the property is very busy, cars and trucks pass almost permanently by from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. The provided earplugs are a nice gesture and very necessary. The house is not very sound-proof, every step of the people upstairs can/must always be heard.”

“We were here visiting family and the spot was perfect. It was easily accessible for a family member on a walker and was a great location downtown. The only thing it could have used was a couple more bed pillows, other than that it was perfect!”

“This location is actually a great spot. You can walk everywhere in town. Two floors give guests lots of space, along with the private balcony. Easy walks to coffee shops and restaurants. Lots of retail shops too. The host was helpful and provided fast responses when needed. If you're ok with stairs then this is the place for you.”

Acadia was a stone’s throw away and we enjoyed an audio guided drive on the loop road. Every meal we had in Bar Harbor was delicious! “The property was beautiful, great lighting from the skylights, and great location. The only problem with this property is parking. A parking permit is provided, but there was never a spot available in the designated areas. We had to pay for parking daily by the hour at the Pay for Parking kiosks.”

“We enjoyed our stay here very much. It was nicer and much larger than expected from the pictures. Everything was clean, comfortable bed, large living room with multiple sofas, well appointed large kitchen and dining area. It is less than a mile from Southwest Harbor and easy access to Acadia. I would definitely stay here for future visits to Acadia area.”

“Just a great great place to stay only problem we had being in our 70s was the two sets of stairs, but we needed the exercise anyway. This apartment was decorated really nice everything sparkling clean couldn’t have asked for a better stay in Bar Harbor. Would recommend this to anyone.”

“The 2 bedroom apt was in a great location on Main Street. It was well maintained and clean. Of course with everything in Castine, it is a historic house with the creaky staircases and sloping floors but they have done well with it and it looks like they are upgrading their other apts in the building.”

“As others have said, the building is some nondescript, and the condo is up a flight of stairs over a garage, but the interior is lovely, spacious and comfortable. Plenty of space in the kitchen and a large dining room. It was very nice that each room had it’s own bathroom. The bunk room was on the street side, but seemed pretty quiet, and the other bedrooms were even quieter. The kitchen seemed well supplied, but, honestly, we went out a lot. Across the street the is a bakery, nice breakfast...

“We really enjoyed staying in this condo while visiting Acadia. It is conveniently located within walking distance of everything in Bar Harbor. This small condo features upgraded furnishings that made it pleasant to return to after a day of hiking and sightseeing. The king bed was most comfortable and the condo was clean and well organized for the small space. We also appreciated having a dedicated parking space. The owner responded quickly to questions. We felt right at home and would stay...

“The condo was adorable and had plenty of room for the 4 of us. It was not too far of a drive visiting different areas in Acadia National Park. We loved walking through the marina and seeing all the boats. Check in was very easy. Will definitely come back.”

“We really enjoyed our stay in this home and location. We had everything we needed in the condo. We did not hear our neighbors at all. The loft stairs are a little tricky but we had adult children manuvering the stairs so it worked out. There is a BR in the downstairs next to the main BR if you have youngsters. The views are outstanding. Don't miss a sunset. Some mornings there is fog so when it's clear you won't want to miss it. Beautiful. We would stay again and definitely recommend.”

“Hot water was a bit slow to get. It’d take about 5 minutes for the hot water to even start when using the shower. Other than that, this property was very nice. Cute little cottages with everything you’d need for a hiking vacation. The owner was very responsive and nice. Great amenities on the property too which you don’t see in many other places. Will certainly book here again in the future if we return to Acadia. ”
