“I stayed at the Lonely Oak with my two teenage children. I had a few questions before my arrival, and the staff were quick to respond and very helpful. The space is beautifully decorated, and in a very quiet part of the countryside. It is close enough to Llano if we needed something, but far enough away to enjoy some peace and quiet. “The property was just as described. It is an absolutely gorgeous place. The water was perfect with many options to enjoy the lake. We would love to come again and use the whole facility for a family gathering. There is definitely something there for everyone and plenty of room to spread out and relax. For two, it was the perfect romantic escape we were looking for.”

“Beautiful and well maintained property. Check in and out were a breeze. Quiet place out in the country. Great escape from the city. House was clean but small. No ice maker, stove did not work, no pans provided, and no TV. Main sleeping quarters was upstairs via a ladder which was sketchy. We slept on the sofa on the main floor. “Cabin was clean and had many supplies. Be aware that the bathroom is not in the cabin but just a few steps away and is a private bath, did not impact our stay. Seems like it would be a good place to stay in warmer months when you could use the lake amenities. We chose the property because of its proximity to Stone House Vineyard, we were attending an event there and wanted to stay close by.”

“We enjoyed our stay in this spacious property, there was room for everyone. The house was well stocked with items we needed and the children enjoyed swimming in the pool even if it was cold. The best part was watching the Eclipse which was amazing. The Host answered questions we had immediately would definitely stay again.”

“The house and location were wonderful, but we were dissapoined with the cleanliness of the property. The beautiful picture windows were dirty and full of cobwebs. The porch needed to be swept and furnature brushed off at least. And there was black mold all over the master shower ceiling. The other disappointment was that there was great outside furniture by the lake, but there weren't enough cushions for all the guests to sit comfortably.”
