"For a 4 star hotel the amenities seem very outdated. There are no water refill stations. They say the pool is heated, but it was so cold no one wanted to get in. There is no hot tub. They had some games out on the patio but the connect 4 was broken. There are no microwaves in the room. That seems like a standard now days even in 2 and 3 star hotels. The did have one with the ice machine. When I heard someone ask the front desk why they didn’t have a microwave in the room the front desk clerk said it is because they are a 4 star hotel, not a restaurant. That doesn’t even make sense. "

"This was a really easy check-in and check-out experience, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The beds were comfortable — I woke up without any back pain, which is always a big plus. I don’t eat meat, so I was pleasantly surprised they had egg whites available. That was a nice touch and definitely appreciated. The location is super convenient. Planet Fitness is about 10 minutes away, 7‑Eleven is just 5 minutes, and H‑E‑B is roughly 5–7 minutes away. Whole Foods Market is about a 20-minute drive, which isn’t bad at all. One of the main reasons I came was for the nearby nature trail, which is only about 10 minutes away. I recommend getting there early (around 6 AM), because later on there’s about a $10 per person fee. There’s also a Whataburger within walking distance for anyone looking for a quick bite. Overall, this is a great property with a great staff. I’d definitely stay here again. "
