"The view is amazing and I look forward to staying here again. Breakfast was better than most im picky about gravy and this one was good. Pool was refreshing and the waterfall added a nice effect. Im a cigar smoker and there was a gazebo by the outdoor BBQ grill and picnic tables where us cool smokers hang out and meet interesting others."

"The hotel, which just completed a remodel, appeared, to me, as it had recently opened despite being in operation for over 15 years. All of the front counter personnel were helpful, friendly and professional. The room, lobby, breakfast area were all in great shape. The breakfast was great and the cinnamon rolls appeared to be fresher than other Holiday Inns I have stayed at. Everything else was very clean (room, lobby, grounds etc.) All in all a great experience with no real issues. If I had one comment the coffee beans made a more bitter coffee than what I like, a medium roast as opposed to the dark roast would be a better choice for me."

"Everything was fantastic except for the trash that was left on the front porch by the previous occupant. This was in the instructions for checkout, but the staff never picked it up. I messaged them about it, it was still there two days later when we checked out, but now ours is sitting next to it. I’m not sure if there is anyone on-site over night, we never saw anyone."

"This property is incredibly maintained and is beautifully decorated and quite cozy. Love all the extra little touches. Loved watching the deer eat and hummingbirds at all the feeders.This place has such a cool vibe. We will definitely be back. Scott is the best!!"

"Very nice property on acres of land. No neighbors to worry about hearing noises from so it is very private. The pool was clean and very nice. The pool table was also a hit. Flat Creek Winery is right down the road. Closest stores and restaurants aside from Flat Creek are about 15 minutes away in Lago Vista so bring what you think you will need. The host answered all questions right away. 6 adults had a very nice stay."

"Wonderful “homey” place nestled in the Hill Country! Very comfortable and has everything we needed. Beautiful view and even prettier sunsets that you can watch on either porch! Very close to Lago Vista for food and very close to awesome hikes at Balconies Canyonlands Preserve! We had an awesome time!!"

"The location is beautiful and all three cabins are clean and provide ample space for large groups. The beds, sheets and pillows are very comfortable. They provide a great supply of clean towels in all cabins, including pool towels. The refrigerators are clean and work well and each cabin had a coffee maker, range and microwave. Washer and dryers were a nice addition. The deck area was a great hangout space for a lot of people. The outdoor speaker system was fantastic! While we had a great time staying there, we also dealt with a few disappointments. The pool was not ready when we arrived and had to be treated after we got there. The kitchen equipment needs an update. Several skillets need to be thrown away and replaced with safer ones. A dining room chair collapsed when sat upon by an average size person and the master cabin toilet was loose. The bed in the master bedroom in cabin 1 was way too high. We had two handicapped people (one is 85 and in a wheelchair the other has a prosthetic leg) who could only stay in master cabin, but the bed was not a reasonable height for either one. We had to remove the box springs to lower the bed for safety. The loft ladder in cabin 3 is too steep and in need of handrails for safety. Overall, we had a great time there and enjoyed the outdoor spaces tremendously. I recommend the location despite a few improvements needed."
