Before our visit I inquired if they had any complimentary rooms available for honeymooners in which I was told no and was offered upgradable rooms for $200 per person a night. When we arrived half the rooms were empty. But can’t expect things for free. This resort is located right beside the highway. It is VERY LOUD in your room. Good luck getting sleep! We had an ocean view on our balcony but the door side looked onto a busy road with industrial storage. Rooms have been renovated but there are still a few issues with them. The sliding door felt like it was going to fall off and couldn’t close it completely. The air conditioning grill had marks of mould around the register and you could smell it the whole time you were in the room, this might cause health issues. Housekeeping did a great job cleaning with a tuck down service (we tipped 50 pesos every night). Food is okay. Not bad. Not great. The a la carte portions are so small that you need to order your meals twice. Overall service from management and staff was great. Some of the property is fairly worn down. Steel railings on the balconies are rusting and tarnishing the building. You look out your room to the ocean and the red roof paint is peeling and needs some work. It ruined the view. The worst thing was the foul smell from the restaurant. The resort sends all its grey water to the beach area which collects with a foul smell that is disgusting when you eat The washroom by the adults pool was gross.

You get a beautiful view from almost all locations. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. I didn't eat at all of the restaurants but the pizza at Il Forno was good. As were the drinks! I would have liked to see a few Mexican options on the menu, but, I could have ventured around the property to a different restaurant if it was really an issue. It was low season, but they seemed fully staffed and everything was open. The only comment I have is that I waited over an hour for help with my luggage on check out, despite making several calls. I had given myself plenty of time for the airport, but that could have been an issue for someone on a tighter schedule.

We booked the 2 bedroom suite with ocean view. Unfortunately there’s construction blocking the gorgeous view. It can initially be seen in their lobby. We couldn’t enjoy the balcony and plunge pool. The staff was accommodating enough to change our rooms but it was still the same view. Their rooftop pool will eventually have a building blocking their view depending on how high it’ll get built. Aside from that, the resort is very nice and the staff are very friendly!

Overall customer service was unsatisfactory. Staff wasn’t very helpful only a handful were nice and friendly. I wouldn’t recommend this place. I would look into other places that have better service and value for the price we paid.
