Place was fantastic

Some guests have given this motel poor reviews but I found it acceptably clean and comfortable. If you understand that this is indeed a refurbished MOtel, not a hotel, then you will not be put off by the door-adjacent parking spaces (which are pretty convenient!) and the parking lot noise. The room was pretty basic but the bed was comfortable and there were plenty of towels. The nostalgia-esque based decor is a bit junky, but whatever. The location is great, close to the UGA campus and lots of restaurants, bars, shops, etc. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A couple of notes: the TV is not internet connected, so you only get live TV and not very many channels at that. When I turned on the AC unit for some heat, it emitted a chemical smell and triggered the smoke alarm. The front desk staff seemed to be aware of this and unsurprised. There is parking lot noise, but it's not excessive, usually some late arrivals and early departures. This place is a little pricey for what you get, but will suffice if you're looking for a basic room in a good location.

Rebecca welcomed me upon arrival and Deni Jean prepared an excellent breakfast for us each morning along with delicious treats in the afternoon with tea and or coffee. The Inn is clean, comfortable and quiet, which makes for a very relaxing stay.
