"Rooms have been renovated and hotel is very nice and clean inside. Outside, there were homeless outside sleeping and walking in front of the hotel, it was odorous of urine. The gas lamp has really changed a lot. Overall, hotel was great, it does not have room service or restaurants."
"Really enjoyed our stay. Robby and Marcus have excellent customer service. Had a small inconvenience but Marcus and Robby were able to assist and deliver exceptional customer service. "
"It was fine to stay. I thought there would be more amenities for the price, but the valet was cheapest around compared to others and valet staff was kind and attentive. "
"Beautifully restored building. Good location to the venue we had to walk.
The room and bathroom was very nice and comfortable
though, the bathroom did not have shower cap and other toiletries. "

5/5 Excellent
"We got a bay view semi king room, the view was great and the place was quiet. Check in and check out process is super easy and fast. Great location to stay since it’s accessible from many places. The property and room were clean, however the property/building itself is an old structure. Parking on property is not included with the stay which increases the total cost of the stay. If you don’t buy the parking pass then you’ll have to park the car outside with little to no options. Parking per day is approx $20. Overall we enjoyed the stay. "

"Very positive experience, staff was very courteous knowledgeable and helpful. Hector was exceptionally versed in all aspects of the hotel and things to do in San Diego. Great valet parking and bars and restaurants within the hotel. Pool area and poolside bar was amazing. Highly recommend the stay. "

"Parking is very expensive everywhere in Downtown so we Ubered over and we saved time and didn’t have to drive around looking for parking. We went to see the Ellen Degenerace stand up comedy and we’re dropped off right in front of Balboa theater. When we got out we grabbed some yummy tacos right on the next block then Ubered home. "
"My stay at Wyndham was fantastic! The room was clean and comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch. I had a wonderful experience and would stay here again!"

"The resort had all the amenities one could ask for. It was walkable to many areas, and my grand-daughter loved the pool and talking to the Sea Lions! We will be back! "
