"The hotel was in a very good location very close to the Gaslamp district close to many restaurants. It is close to many attractions and even the airport. The room was very nice and was close to elevators. Really liked the room as it had a nice balcony and was a good size. We were a party of 3 and what we liked was that it had a second bathroom and separate rooms so we had privacy. The breakfast was very tasty, was not a buffet but table service. "Rooms have been renovated and hotel is very nice and clean inside. Outside, there were homeless outside sleeping and walking in front of the hotel, it was odorous of urine. The gas lamp has really changed a lot. Overall, hotel was great, it does not have room service or restaurants."

great stay, very clean

"We had a fabulous time. The hotel is on the older side, but that did not affect the stay at all. The mattress was great. Multiple options of pillows. Room had fridge, safe, iron, and hair drier. We got a room with balcony bayside, beautiful views. Room was made up every day. Pool clean with towels available. Staff friendly and helpful, my son went up to our room with all keys while we were at the pool and the desk got me an extra one. Coffee cart was great. Wish they had a restaurant, but Claim Jumper shares space with them. Not my favorite restaurant but still good food. Only negative is that the bathrooms don't have vents, but the water was very hot, everything in working order and clean, so it didn't matter too much."
