“Friendly staff,very comfortable bed and fantastic breakfast”

“What a fabulous place!! The superb staff, wonderful food, great ales, good parking, beautifully maintained room and excellent location made our stay an amazing experience. From the first moment we arrived, every detail was taken care of..... including an intial taster of the fine local brewers "Palmers" ale. The room, although compact, was really comfortable, though the bathroom was roomy and towels plentiful. The restaurant food was fabulous, with the Lambs Liver and Steak and Ale pie being……

“If you are looking for a vfm option in West Bay this hotel is the place. We had room 7 on the first floor, spacious, whirlpool bath and even a teapot. In our opinion 2 negatives for this room, the mattress was way too soft and the seagulls from 0400hrs, can't really do anything about the 2nd being near the sea!!! The breakfast is quality, great choice and only £10 per day. The hotel is not statebor modern if that is what you are looking for, however the atmosphere and staff make up for it.”

“The hosts were great… however, the cleanliness was not good!. Upon inspecting our bed, it was clear that the bedding had not been changed, we found two pieces of grass and several pieces of body hair, including eyelashes… ”
