Wonderful property. Amenities were plentiful and attention to detail was just outstanding. Service upon arrival and during our stay was excellent. Check out was a bit disappointing. The clerk took our key with no acknowledgement or salutation. She barely even made eye contact so that was a little let down. Everyone was so friendly, the place was charming and had thoughtful touches. Being an older house, you could hear noise from the restaurant below but it didn't bother us for sleeping. The place is nice and the restaurant downstairs is excellent. But it’s just an OK inn, nothing special, very busy, not personable, and on weekends you get a basket with breakfast instead of a normal one. It’s a good 25 min to historical Charlestown . We went on a trip around the South and stayed in B&Bs throughout. This place cost the most money for least cosiness and comfort. Hotel and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. The only negative was that it was very noisy at night because of the restaurant downstairs.
