“Upon arrival we were so blown away by the beauty of the cabin we decided to inquire and book an extra night as 2 nights just would not be enough time. We spent our first night soaking in each other and soaking in the hot tub. Day 2 we visited the sauna pods and booked a professional photography session which lead to a proposal! Then we enjoyed a unique romantic dinner at Glenlaurel (it’s a must try). Our last day was filled with hiking, visiting the Hocking hills winery, deer watching, sitting……

“Was looking for a cabin that was away from all the noise on the 4th of July. Heard a little bit of noise off in the distance but barely. Definitely more of a hunting lodge, with nice tree stands close by. The beds having no frame is a little uncomfy but all in all was a great stay If you are looking to get away in the middle of nowhere.”

“Michelle was an excellent host. She was very friendly and talked to us each day we were there. Just so you know, this is a cabin. There is no running water or toilet. There is a shower house and port a john. Both were very clean and we really enjoyed the cabin itself. There is a nice porch, a covered porch and plenty of room for two adults and two kids (it was just us when we stayed. There is a ton of open space to hike and wander, like 100 acres worth. Pro tip- you need to bring your own……

“We arrived a little after the designated check-in. We entered the code provided by the host and was able to access the cabin without issue. The kitchen had all the needed amenities and tools needed to prepare meals onsite. The outdoor grill was a great addition to the ability to cook delicious meals onsite. “Honestly it was amazing for a getaway. There is a house super close behind the cabin but it didn’t stop us. Fishing there was amazing, we caught almost 50 fish in 3 days. Hot tub was good and relaxing very conveniently on the front porch! Loved following the trails just regular trails. It was quiet and romantic especially at night under the stars making smores!”
