"This is the perfect little apartment for a stay in beautiful Varenna. Giorgio, the host, and his son Alberto are so available and helpful. The views in the pictures are absolutely what they are in real life. It is magical! There are many great restaurants, bars, gelato shops and shopping within a 5 to10 minute walk and the ferry station is an easy short walk too.We highly recommend this apartment, we loved every minute of staying there."

"We loved our stay in Varenna! The host gave excellent directions on how to access the apartment. We brought a car and were able to park in the nearby public parking lot. Walking to the place involved a short steep downhill on cobblestones and several flights of stairs to the apartment, so that is good to know if you have physical limitations. But, we loved it and would go back!"

"Breakfast was filled with lots of choices, from fresh fruits to croissants and fresh juices. Our room was very clean and very comfortable with lots of amenities that made for a very nice stay we had a balcony with the most amazing view. All the staff were cheerful and very professional. We ate many of our dinners at the Victoria Grill. The menu offered many choices and the food was of high quality. Service was also top notch. I would highly recommend this hotel for its central location on Lake Como."
