We had a room right next to the front desk and breakfast room, so it was a little noisy, but the room was comfortable and clean. There were two doors for the room, one opened into the interior hall and the other opens into the parking lot, making bringing in luggage easy.

First impressions were disappointing. From hotel staff to “lobby”, empty hot tub, propped open entry door with rat trap nearby. The room, beds and bedding were clean, furniture and carpets suspect, included breakfast included nothing fresh. I wouldn’t stay here again unless I was on a very limited budget.

I enjoyed our stay here very much. Quiet and private. There's a door to the outside of each of the 1st floor rooms that you can easily load and unload your car. The breakfast options were simple, yet a lot of choices and well stocked. There was a laminated list of the TV channel options which I haven't seen very often so I didn't have to search for channels. The air conditioner worked VERY WELL. That was helpful.

The hotel is an older building, but the staff keeps it extremely clean. With its age comes sticky doors, peeling paint, etc but can be easily overlooked to see the clean carpets, clean bathrooms, clean beds, and ability to bring our dog. Breakfast was prepackaged foods and apples, so appreciated for a small snack, not a filling breakfast. The staff was extremely kind, friendly and helpful. We would stay here again if traveling through Cody with our dog.

Very nice hotel as a starting point for our Yellowstone adventure. The rooms were very nice, with a microwave and fridge. We were happily surprised to have a contenential breakfast in their breakfast book, it was a bunch of microwave things like little biscuits and sausage, or a microwaved grilled cheese, or breakfast bars, but we really appreciated it and it was a wonderful surprise capper of our stay, very nice place we will for sure stay there again on our next Yellowstone adventure

The locally owned hotel is in a great location on US-14. The staff were very helpful to us and we saw them try to assist a single mom with 5 children who checked in just before us. We appreciated their kindness. Our room was clean, although the decor could use sprucing up. We stayed 2 nights and felt the accommodations were a good value for our traveling dollars.

The staff was very friendly. The room was clean. No chairs to sit on in room had to go down stairs and get chair from hot tub area and carry up to room. No elevator, which was bad had to carry luggage up the stairs ect.

The hotel is showing its age. Our first room smelled of cigarettes so they gave us another room. It had no chain lock on the door. Looked like it had been torn from the wall. Wall paper was old and dirty in the stair well. The breakfast room is very small and stuffy, needs air conditioning. The breakfast selection is very limited. Basically snack bars. The staff are awesome. Cody and Loyd managed the front desk and they were both very helpful and accommodating. They took great care of us.

Overall, it was a good experience. There's a nice peaceful veterans Park located adjacent to the hotel. I would have given it a higher rating if the hot tub was working. They told me that it probably would not be operating until the fall, because the nearest person that could fix it was in Billings, Montana. I appreciate the staff working with me to give my handicapped wife a good room.
