"I traveled to Statesville for work to go to a weeklong class. I wanted to do something different instead of a hotel. This apartment was HUGE, very spacious, clean, smelled amazing, and very well decorated. Very well designed from a magazine. It's above a bookstore in an old building so there is exposed brick, ducts, and ceiling beams. The flooring is real wood through out. "The property owner was wonderful - very responsive and accommodating. The view of the lake is absolutely stunning! The space is reasonable for an overnight stay. It could use some updated furniture as there were not many flat surfaces/counters to place toiletries, nonperishables, technology, etc. The room was in the lower, back level of a split-level home with it's own entrance.
