“The home was clean, warm, and welcoming. Very convenient to the places we wanted to go. Host very graciously cleared the sidewalks, and left shovel & salt on the front porch so we could keep up with the crazy snowfall while in the area! Re-accustomed myself to parallel street parking. Quiet neighborhood.”

“This place was amazing!!! If nothing else, just the view from the balcony is worth the stay. But add onto that, your own parking spot, full kitchen, walking distance to food, drinks and shops. Drive to downtown is 15 minutes on busy day. The remodeled interior is great!! This really did feel like home away from home. This is definitely my place to stay on next trip to Pittsburgh.”

“The location was amazing and the views spectacular. The apartment was clean and well maintained. It does not have an elevator in the building and is the penthouse, so the renter must be able to climb carpeted stairs up to the 3rd level to reach the apartment. If climbing stairs is an issue, this apartment is not for you. However, the views make it all worth while.”

“Lots of sights and good bars and restaurants in the area plus the National Aviary. Stairs may be challenging for some but interior was cute and comfortable. Nice host!”

“We had such a wonderful stay at this Troy Hill home while visiting our son at Duquesne University. The location couldn’t have been better-close to campus and so many great Pittsburgh spots like the Duquesne Incline, Heinz History Museum, Blue Slide Park, National Aviary, PNC Park, and the Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium.The house itself was perfect for our family-we truly made it our home for five days. We even hosted Easter dinner for our son and his roommates, which made the stay extra special. The……

“We stayed for 6 nights to be close to my grandson who had heart surgery at UPMC Children’s Hospital. The location of the home was perfect for easy access to the hospital and the amenities such as the washer & dryer, and nicely appointed kitchen made the stay homey and comfortable. The area also has some great restaurants close by. The homeowner, Frank, was fantastic and was quick to respond to any and all requests. ”
