"I stayed at this hotel for two nights. It has potential to be a really nice place, but it needs work. The staff was AMAZING! The rooftop views were beautiful, but you could only see them at 5 o’clock when the rooftop opens. The staff was willing to have maintenance open the rooftop for me but I declined since they had already been so helpful. I assumed I would be able to watch the sun in the morning, but was advised the rooftop was closed. My main concern was the cleanliness, especially in the hallways. It just doesn’t look like it has been maintained well. I did feel safe as a solo traveler and the location is convenient keeping Uber cost down."

"Misleading about being able to talk verbally with a personal assistant upon request regarding complaints. Housekeeping lacks of cleaning, microwave areas ignored the 3 days of my stay."

"Room was nice and loaction is good. The breakfast is very expensive. The thing that lets it down are the bar staff and some at breakfast (but not all). One bar staff member was rude and arrogant, the worst we come across on our road trip, if you don't want to work here just get another job. "

"Room and service were excellent. Staff was attentive in valeting our car immediately and carried luggage up to our room and back down to our car. Room was clean with comfortable beds. The shower was ah-mazing. We were disappointed that The Kitchen ( buffet) restaurant was closed when we had arrived which was 8:00. We did end up eating at the sports bar when entering the Casino. It was awful and service was not friendly nor attentive. We stayed a couple hours to gamble but it was all o could take due to all the smoke from smokers. Overall, I would recommend for an overnight stay."

"We stayed in the fly fishing cabin. 2 adults, 2 teens. Had to pay 32 dollars per night extra for a rollaway bed. No soap or shampoo dispenser in shower, so be sure to pack yours. No coffee or tea in lobby. The Walburgerz Wild is not a wild menu, waitstaff said go to Boston for venison burgers. The 2 night stay was ok, but the property boasts ‘world class accommodations’ I don’t feel that is what we got. If you are an outdoor enthusiast you will enjoy the decor, but in my opinion it was ‘just a hotel stay.’ A nice view of the Mississippi River from the top of the pyramid that won’t get elsewhere in town. Free if a hotel guest, but 8 dollars if not to ride elevator up. Restaurant was expensive for the quality of food. I felt safe at the hotel, but the homeless people are plentiful in downtown. Be aware of your surroundings if you venture out."

"Since new owners/managers took over last year, this location has gone down hill. We will be looking for a different hotel to cover our travel needs in Memphis."

"Great value for the room price. Excellent location. Clean, although my room had a damp smell. Staff present for a smooth check in. Disappointed no staff were present the two times I stopped in the morning. Breakfast area is clean and inviting. However, the food was subpar. Fruit was not fresh and the coffee lukewarm. I will stay at this property again and trust my experience wasn’t typical."
