Waterfront, Boat Ramp & Dock, Decks, Kayaks, Pet-Friendly!

Watch the sun rise over the water while the Cormorants dive down in the water catching fish. Situated on two intersecting canals that are great for catching Redfish, Black Drum, Speckled Trout, and the occasional Alligator Gar. Large kitchen and living room lead to a large covered deck and fishing dock where the ocean breeze awaits. All amenities to cook and entertain. We provide three (3) Kayaks for our guest to use during their visit. The canals are just a short paddle to Salt Lake and Copano Bay. Private boat ramp for you to launch your boat with a deck built lower to the water to make it easier to get in and out of your boat with a fish cleaning stand that has both running water and electricity. Underwater green light/lights help bring in the fish. Backyard is fully fenced with a charcoal and propane grill that allow you to cook while fishing. House is single level so no going up and down the stairs.

Cozy family retreat

Great cozy house for family get together. Lots of beach boutiques, very beautiful beaches, or just staying home and fishing was great too. Plenty of room for 5 adults, 2-10 yearolds and our dog. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location, friendly neighbors, enough rooms and bathrooms for our 4 person family. My husband, myself and our two teenagers stayed here. We never caught any keepers while there, but we tried. We have an older dog and the fenced in yard was smaller but that was perfect for our dog. Sitting on the back porch was relaxing. Having the kayaks to be able to use was also great. We really enjoyed being here and would definitely stay again. The host is very responsive.

Great place to stay for kayakers.

Ample seating inside and out for the 5 of us. Highly functional kitchen made cooking a breeze. Loved the covered back porch and the deck on the canal. John is an exceptional host.

This was the perfect place for a family trip with my grandma. We spent most of our stay out on the back deck watching the sea gulls and Heron. The canal was so quiet and peaceful!

Family vacation in Rockport

This property was super clean and inviting. It was well maintained and very comfortable. Communication with the property owner was also very good. We chose this property because it didn't have but two steps into the house as I am handicapped and it worked very well

Restful and Relaxing

Property was as described and worked well for 2 couples and their dogs. We enjoyed all of the amenities that were offered. The fishing wasn’t great but we had a great time anyway. Our host John was amazing he was very responsive to any of our questions or concerns

Perfect and relaxing.

The property was just as promised. The bedrooms were comfortable. The shower pressure was amazing. We had fun using the kayaks and fishing off the dock. The propert owner was quick to check in and communicate. Would highly recommend and would stay again!

Family Gathering

Wonderful weekend in the sweetest place. Just right for young and older family members. A dock for fishing and relaxing and two porches. Felt instantly at home with everything I could ask for but the food. The owner was generous enough to offer extra time to early check-in and check out later. Such a kind gesture that was appreciated but we weren’t able to use because of travel issues. Would love to stay again in the near future.

Canal fun

We had a great, restful stay. We loved the ability to launch our little Portland Pudgy and even though it was quite windy most of our stay, we managed several trips out of the canal system in front of the house to the main bay. John was super responsive to our questions and it was a simple check in.

Relaxing family vacation!

Great place! Beds were comfy. Had plenty of space. The dock was awesome. Beautiful at night when lit up. AC was nice and cool. The kayaks were an added bonus. The owner was great with communication. Quick responses and willing to help at any time. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful time. The property comes well equipped with everything you'll need. The property owner is quick to respond. Perfect location right on a channel with great fishing! Walmart and HEB is only a five minute drive. We definitely would stay again!

Great Family House for Vacation

This house was the most awesome place to stay for our 7 member family. The covered back porch was a great “plus”, which went right out to the fishing pier. Fenced in backyard was great for our 2 dogs that we had with us! Boat launch at the end of the driveway made it very easy for all of our kayakers! We will be back!!!

Our Happy Spot

My husband spent his summers in Rockport so it's always good to get back there to recharge. Our stay at this house was very comfortable, spacious and our host was awesome. We had one of the green lights out when we arrived and our host was there asap to fix it, he was very accommodating! Our family visited us there and we all had a great time fishing off the dock. The whole vacation was comfortable and relaxing.

Relaxation and Birds, who could ask for more

The host was very proactive in helping us to check in and making sure we found everything we needed. The property is lovely, it's impossible to tear yourself away from the back porch and deck. The house is spacious enough that 3 couples felt we had ample private space. And the cool birds were such an unexpected bonus! We definitely recommend this property to just get away and relax.
