Such an amazing place to stay at St. Johns. Very clean, comfortable and cool. Balcony was exceptional and they had snorkeling gear which was so cool! Will definitely return. This was our 2nd time at st . John's

This was the most disappointing stay at a resort I've ever had. I didn't have high expectations based on other revi ews but it was worse than I expected. At one point, we had to switch rooms because there was a huge cockroach in the bathroom and then we found another one in front of our bed after coming back from an excursion. When I told the front desk, they offered to switch our room to one that was "out of the bushes" as they said. We had to pack up our entire room and move everything. They gave us a coupon to the restaurant which did not even cover our entrees. There were stains on our blanket that grossed us out. The tile work in the bathroom looked like the contractors gave up at some point. We were forewarned about the smell from the seaweed but it was pretty vile and prevented us from hanging out by the main pool, which is ridiculous. Rooms are outdated. The front desk didn't reliably answer calls. The drinks are overpriced but there is a happy hour. That being said, the drinks are just ok. You can't connect to Netflix through the room TV. The staff were pretty nice and they try but this is a management issue. They need help here. Additionally, I got a call from Wyndham Vacations this evening telling me I am eligible for a promotion. When I started to tell them about my experience, they hung up on me mid-sentence! I am over and done with Wyndham. Embarrassing. Book elsewhere, trust me!

The views were beautiful and walking distance to town. The room was clean but our room was unfinished. For example, windows with no curtains and a slider that only had a partial curtain and didn’t fully close. The neighbors got a show every night (and not by choice) Also our water was cut off -twice- but they quickly fixed it. The pool area was hit or miss with too many day-passers drowning the vibe. When you arrive - expect to carry your luggage up two flights of stairs. The food was excellent and our bartender Mac was the best on the island. Great drinks and good company. The other bartender - Stephanie was the opposite of Mac - she openly complained about the hotel and other co-workers - completely unprofessional (and didn’t make a good drink) . When you’re on vacation, the last thing you want to listen to is someone bit$&ching while you sip on a drink. This place could be a gem with some changes.
