“This place surpassed our expectations. Very modern, spotless and well stocked with the essentials. The layout was well thought out with a central great room and each suite located in such a way to allow for privacy. The pool area was beautiful and well maintained. Individual tankless hot water heaters for each suite and whole-house water filtration was over the top! (Not at all common in Belize). And even though it is located right in town ( within walking distance to restaurants and stores) it……

“Actually, I ended up not staying here. Two days prior to scheduled arrival, I messaged the host requesting check in instructions. After several unanswered messages & failed attempts to reach him by phone, we went looking for the property. The directions in the listing were no good, and neither was Google maps. Some kind locals were able to direct us to the property. Upon arrival, everything was locked up & we could not access the property. The neighbor offered assistance, and was able to reach……

“The Cabana was nice and clean, had all we needed to make the stay easy and happy. At first I thought it would be to far out of the way, but not at all. The location was actually perfect for visiting Bocawina Falls, and Hopkins. Also we were happy with the airco, and sat at the roof top enjoying the view of field and mountains. A very nice surprise at the edge of town, and enough resorts around the beach taking care of our dinners.”
