“From the planning to our actual time in Belize, Gecko was amazing. The staff could have not been more friendly, professional, or amazing than they were. Our chef, Omar, was absolutely amazing and cooked us the most amazing food. I did not want to go home to eat crap in the States, lol, his food was so amazing! Our housekeeper, Elda, was so helpful and kept the condo superior the entire time of our stay. I would defiantly use Gecko again for my future Belize trips.”

“What a perfect location being a little out of town but at the perfect distance to easily get there. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. The unit was perfect with all the necessary needs plus some. We usually always stay at different location when we travel and the whole family agreed we all want to come back and stay here again.”

“The unit was clean but sparse amenities inside. insufficient towels, lack of basic cook ware and utensils made it almost impossible to cook a basic meal. Painted outdoor furniture was peeling and attached to clothing. ”

“The condos and the surrounding area were top notch. We took advantage of the kitchen and cooked our own meals which we purchased from the store about a 5 minute drive with the golf cart we rented. We had the kitchen stocked and ready for us when we arrived with everything we requested for that night and the next morning which was amazing as it was a long travel day for us. The views are great and the staff does a nice job looking after everything. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Security……

“This place was just great. Really a well kept property. The landscaping was well kept. The pool was cleaned daily and beautiful. The place has a dock that most morning we went out on and read. To get to the property there is a gate and guard. Then they have secirity around all night. We never felt unsafe staying there or anywhere in Belize for that matter. I would highly recommend staying here.”

“Very nice property, roomy and comfortable with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The architecture is unique and admirable. There is a nice restaurant at a nearby resort and a store you could bike to with their provided beach cruisers; the rest of the sights and destinations in Placencia are on the very far end so you will want to rent a vehicle of some type during your stay here. The manager arranged to have a golf cart dropped off for our use and that worked out just fine; they were……

“Loved the beach area and pool. Overall the Beachside Villas was a great place to stay - clean and comfortable. Our particular unit could have used a few upgrades, especially in the kitchen. Not having a full-sized refrigerator was a major disappointment.”
