"4 night stay in July. Went to chill out and relax after visiting central Porto. Tried the amazing restaurant experience on our first night. Building is amazing and beautifully converted to a hotel. Loved waiting to see what cake would be left in our room each turndown. "

"Only problem I encountered was when a big group from an airline crew was in the lobby and it was impossible to take the elevator or even ask front desk where the stairs were. Room was very nice and front desk was helpful."

"Great location, immediately in front of Aliados Station. Friendly hotel concierge, bar and restaurant staff. Recommendation #1: hotel room with trapezoidal layout is best suited for a couple with one king bed rather than two family members with two separate twin beds. Recommendation #2: ensure housekeeping staff can at least communicate in basic English to avoid language barrier with hotel guests. "

"Clean, comfortable bed, breakfast buffet was very fresh and was attended too throughout the breakfast hours. Lobby smelled nice. Shower had good pressure. I also loved the windows opened out a few inches for fresh air. Good location to food and shopping "

"The main reason for booking was that we had a very late arriving flight and this hotel was minutes walk from the metro and had a 24 hour reception. Receptionist was very welcoming even at 1am. Quiet hotel and room comfortable and clean. Big fluffy towels and plenty of hot water. Room is basic. We would of appreciated proper coffee cups in the room and a soap dish. There was only small lamps in the room so it felt very dark when the curtains were shut. The tap water was never cold so a fridge would have been nice to chill water. Would not hesitate to recommend to others."
