The staff were helpful and friendly. The room is small and outdated; the carpet and bedding are not clean. Breakfast is way below expectation for the price it charges me (~£40 per day).

Excellent staff, nothing was too much for them. They were always available if anything was needed and they were very friendly. However, concerning the room, there were lots of hair in shower & bathroom upon check in. Also on the bed sheets. Floor needs to be cleaned in both bathroom & bedroom, regularly. Cleaning standards in general were not very good. Fridge & oven had food deposits. Cobwebs in windows. Also, whoever painted the walls, (it was freshly painted) painted almost everything i.e. headboard, floor, presses, etc. Not a professional job. Lots of noise from banging doors at night, they def need soft close hinges. It's such a pity because it's very central, ideal for anyone visiting Liverpool but unfortunately l wouldn't book again.
