Outdoor hose and line for washing and drying kit was great and it was lambing time so that was a delight to see! John & Jane are just lovely, welcoming and friendly they made sure we had everything we needed and lovely to have a chat with. Can't wait to go back!"

"We had a wonderful stay on Dartmoor. It was blissfully quiet and the views and walks on your doorstep were stunning. The property was just as described and provided everything we required. We wanted to get away from the normal busy life for a week of rest along with being with nature and the outdoors. "If you want a family holiday up to 9 people in South Devon in the Countryside, staying in a traditional thatched cottage, then this is the place for you. Amazing character set in a beautiful village location, close to all the beaches for the children but far enough away from the crowds and traffic in August. "There was a mix up at check in, where somebody else had been previously checked into our room ~ hence when we came to check in, no booking was in the system… the receptionists managed to get to the bottom of it, & resolve the issue as well as offering us a drinks voucher for the inconvenience. Was a small issue in the end, but the staff dealt with it really well "
