"The manager Dee was fantastic. This is a great historic property right on the Old Town San Diego State Park property. It is fun and a very educational location.

"We love a haunted property? Am I right?! Whilst I didn't encounter any ghouls, it was a fun, historic place to stay. No amenities so that was a bummer.
I did absolutely love the pastries and tea in the morning. Wish a lot more of the grounds was accessible."

"I had to leave early for a family emergency. When I was speaking to the hotel front desk, he mentioned that they would be willing to credit the day that I’ve missed and to reach out to Expedia to see if they would also credit me for the second day, so I did and to my surprise I got credit back for the day I had to leave early. I was just assuming I was gonna miss out on that refund and it was very nice that the front desk gave that option to me."
"The only negative I saw from this hotel was on the weekends waiting for an elevator in the one tower. They only have two elevators so sometimes there’s a line otherwise this place is completely awesome and no issues. I loved it."
"We had a great experience at Embassy suites. Their breakfast selection was great. And we loved the evening reception. Unfortunately, parking was very expensive. But I think that’s the case for most hotels in the area. Thankfully, we had tons of things to do in the surrounding areas."
"Busy weekend with guests, every parking spot filled by 11pm. Its a great location for multiple tourist/events, train station, walking distance to many venues! We enjoyed our 2 night stay. Used the pool, ate @ the continental breakfast, it was very clean & simple choices. "
