I searched diligently trying to find a reasonably priced hotel close to the beach, with good reviews, short walking distance to good coffee shops and restaurants, in a safe area, and was exceptionally fortunate to stumble upon the Leucadia Beach Inn! The staff was very helpful with my late check-in, very accommodating with my parking spot, and the room was very comfy and clean. I will be sure to book another stay soon on my next trip to San Diego!

Great location for walking distance to shops and restaurants. The beach is like a 12 minute walk also! Yes, you can hear the train at night but I personally love it. Room was clean and comfy!

LOVED this hotel! From the outside it’s one I would not thbe no of staying. BUT, the reviews here helped me and SO glad I did. The rooms are darling with a lot of space, clean, spacious, and great walking and beach town. Definitely keeping this as a go to place.

What a gem this place is! We were upgraded to a nicer, bigger room unexpectedly upon arrival and then were walked right to our room and given lots of good suggestions about nearby spots to get food. The best part is that Beacon’s beach is just a few blocks away!

We didn’t get a chance to use the kitchen but it was fully stocked with a full-size stove and everything you need to cook dinner if you want. We were on a simple overnight staycation in our local town and will definitely stay at the Leucadia Beach Inn again. What a gem!

The hotel was built in the 20’s, so it’s not fancy, but it has charm and our room and kitchenette were spotless. The bed was very comfortable, and the room had both an air conditioner and windows that open. The location was perfect. We would definitely stay here again.

I stayed in the economy room so the amenities are less than other rooms which is to be expected. Clean rooms, friendly staff. Parking is challenging but available, just a little tight. Hot plate for a stove. Conveniently located for dining, beach and clubbing.
