The mattress on the bed was awful. The metal springs could be felt through the thin mattress cover to such an extent I found it painful to lie on. I tried adding the spare pillows (single traveller) underneath me but I still barely slept an hour all night. There were also no lights outside or around the building. Getting from the car park to the hotel in the dark was dangerous on the uneven and potholed terrain. Room was clean, nicely decorated & bed comfy but bathroom sink was a corner sink so difficult to use for shaving, make up etc. No hair dryer in the room. Plenty of hot water in the shower & good water pressure. Location is gorgeous and green. Suite was clean bright and beautiful. Staff were super friendly theough out the stay. With two young children, we asked twice (including calling ahead 45 min before arrival) to ensure the cot and small bed were setup. We were assured this would be done. Get in the room with two very tired children who then proceeded to wake up as we had to get the beds setup in the dark. This is how it appears on their website. It has been explained to us that in order to stay in the bungalow your booking should be for at least for 3 nights. Our room was clean, comfortable, had everything you would need for one night stay in the hotel room. Few of the lights didn’t have light bulbs, no towels as had to go buy towels for our stay and also toilet paper. There was no WiFi in the lodge and I was unable to use the television although they did try to remedy this.
