"By far one of the best cabins I have ever stayed at. Quiet, peaceful and stunning views. My wife, parents, brother and dog all felt at home. I didn't know if I was in Flagstaff or in Wyoming/Montana! I was hoping to see some snow but it didn't matter. Lissette was extremely helpful and friendly from the beginning. "We entered the tiny house and found sewage around the base of the composting toilet. I read the directions supplied by the owner to add coffee grounds and mixed it into the sludge with the side mixer. The toilet then released more fluid. We were basically unable to use the bathroom because of the fumes. The exhaust fan didn’t work. After the second day of feeding coffee to the beast it quit leaking. We were unable to contact the owner through VRBO because VERBO wouldn’t recognize our email. The same email they used to confirm our reservation. There is no wifi. No phone number was provided. So, nobody checked the home prior to our arrival. Had they checked, this problem wouldn’t have become ours. This stay was the worst we have ever had."

"What a refreshing change from touristy cabins/motels. Solitude, wide open vistas, starry skies. Owner was helpful and responsive, but not intrusive. Members of owner’s family who stopped by were kind and informative. "
