“2 couples stayed for a few days to explore Hebden Bridge and surrounding area. The house is beautiful and typical of the area with good size well decorated rooms. A lovely big bathroom and good kitchen. No outside space to speak of but we sat in the small yard one afternoon. The lounge is great but could do with another arm chair to make it more comfortable for 4 adults and a couple of folding chairs for the yard would be handy. "I booked a triple room, but all the amenities provided were only for one person — one duvet, one towel, one cup, and one set of toiletries. This is clearly unacceptable for a triple room. I reported this to the reception and explained that it was not an urgent request, and I would be fine if the items could be delivered later in the evening. However, the staff showed a poor attitude, were unwilling to help, and simply replied that they were busy without taking any further action. On top of that, the room was dirty and did not meet basic cleanliness standards. This experience is extremely disappointing and far below expectations."
