Amazing Stay!

The property is amazing. We arrived and it was clean and easy to access based on directions from property owners. The property has beach access right across the street which was convenient. Also located just a two minute walk is a mini grocery store with all basic necessities.

Close to everything felt like being in my own place. Confortable!

Did a combination. Trip went to see Alabama crimson tide game first and enjoyed the gulf shores with this great cottage!

Enjoyed it

The unit was clean and as advertised. Being the first unit in the complex was nice since it is a standalone unit and had the best front porch views. The beach access is directly across the road which was super convenient. The pool area was well kept. The complex was not busy during our stay. It's also a short walk to the convenience store to the west. We'll definitely consider staying at Sea & Sun #7 again.

The best beach booking ever!

First of all - the service. WOW. We searched for hours before we finally chose where we wanted to stay for our family vacation - and we were SO glad we chose this beach cottage. There is just enough room to both feel cozy and homey, but it is very nice and well-kept, which prompted us to take pictures of just how pretty the property is, both inside and out. The beds were EXTREMELY comfortable. The bunk beds and full sized bed in the extra room (room aside from the master bedroom) makes families with multiple children not go through the hassle of finding somewhere that has enough room for kids to sleep that isn't on a pull out couch. The full size fridge and freezer made our stay with children very convenient. The stove and oven work properly. It is easily accessible and parking was never an issue. This cottage is not in a "loud" area of town, and is very peaceful. There are seats to sit on the balcony. The pool is very nice and well-kept as well. The kids said they didn't know if they liked the beach or the pool more, which is surprising because they absolutely love the beach. There are dishes there, so well stocked that we did not need to buy anything. The washer and dryer was a HUGE plus. When we arrived home, I had very minimal laundry to do when we got home. There is a water spigot below so you can rinse off sand before going up to the cottage. There were plenty of cleaning supplies, a very nice large-capacity dishwasher. There is a convenient store w/i walking distance.

Very pleasant.

Every time we come to gulf shores we always try to see if the cottage is available. We love the cottage and the location at it. Very easy beach access for my in laws that were with us. They very much enjoyed it. Love love love this place. We will be back..and the owner answered all of our questions and got back to our questions very quickly.. awesome experience with in laws and all. Thanks so much.

Better Cleaning of The Property

The bed sheets were dirty had stains on them , so we had to buy our own sheets and sleep on top of the sheets provided bc they were nasty and stained the restrooms were half cleaned shower curtains had rings and patches of dirt on them.

Great location, close to the beach. Loved the deck.

The cottage was close to the beach, short walk. Pool was nice, never overcrowded. We did need to go buy more towels so be sure to take some with you. It was an affordable beach cottage and we enjoyed our stay. Would return again, the entire family had a wonderful time.

Family fun days

We had a great time. Home is very bright and beachy feeling. Plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. Pool was wonderful and so convenient. Very easy walk over to the beach. There’s a store a block away which was also very convenient.

Had a great time in the Gulf

Pete was very pleasant and responsive when we reached out to him with questions. The house is very quaint and can sleep a family of 8 but a little tight for 8 adults. We only had 5 staying there. It has very easy access to the beach and convenient to area attractions but far enough away from the crowd. Some minor things that do not affect my rating but may be helpful to futurre travelers. There is no hair dryer like you might find in a hotel. There is a grill available on the ground level which was very helpful but all of the patio/lounge furniture is on the balcony above the parking. Not conducive to outside dining but great for relaxing. Again, this would not affect my decision to rent again as everyone has different specific needs. The kithcen was well stocked which made things very convenient for our family dinners. Thanks Pete for opening your home for us to a have a great time.

Absolutely perfect location! Close to the water! Had an issue with cockroaches and underneath coffee table were filthy. No ice maker, be prepared!

Beach house

First time using VRBO and making the reservation was done easily with no hassles. The house was clean and well maintained. Beautiful and a great location with easy walking access to the beach. Would most definitely book this house again.

We enjoyed our stay the place was nice and ready for us upon arrival. It was clean but I would recommend a deep clean of the cottage. Enough room for a family of 6, the beds were comfortable, pool was great, access to the beach was so easy. We’d definitely stay again.

Wonderful cottage

My family of 5 stayed here and the cottage was perfect size. It is truly everything the listing says it is. We had a wonderful experience and stay. The booking process was easy and and property manager responds quickly. I would highly recommend this location and will definitely book again when we visit Gulf Shores.
