Great place to stay

Felt very comfortable in this hotel. It’s close to all attractions in Hanoi and the hotel is clean and bright inside the room. Special shout out to Kevin & Hannah who made me feel very welcome and spent a lot of their time making me feel comfortable.

I stayed there for a few days. The room was clean and the staff had a good attitude. I especially appreciated Hieu's support when I checked out. Although most of the staff spoke English, there were also staff who could speak Japanese, so I think it was easier to communicate than at other hotels.

Excellent place to stay

Nice let situated in the centre of the city and next to the lake. It’s just the right location to explore the old town by foot. We stayed here three times in our trip and left our cases in between shorter trips away. The staff are excellent and nothing is too much trouble. We arranged money exchange, transport and laundry services at a good price. The rooms are clean and tidy and the back rooms are quieter at night although we had a good night sleep every night. The hotel did not have a restaurant but there are plenty of places nearby to get breakfast and other meals. Highly recommended.

Kevin was extremely helpful and booked a trip to Halong Bay. The location is smack dab in the Old Quarter and easy to get to sites. Walking distance to Water Puppet Theater. Extremely busy with motorbikes in surrounding streets Really enjoyed and would go back!

Late arrival in ho chi minh.

I arrived in ho chi minh after midnite and I was greeted by my airport transfer to my hotel. The room was small but comfortable and had all I needed. Hotel is situated on a walking street and there was no problem finding great food. I would recommend this hotel.

It's all about the staff

We had a truly great stay here. The hotel is older and showing signs of age, but the staff is incredible and more than makes up for worn flooring and dull paint. (Rates are low for a reason after all.) They promptly addressed any concerns we had and frequently offered advice on restaurants and attractions in the area.

I made a reservation 6 hours before arriving at the hotel. When we arrived we were told we didn’t have a room because someone was sick and their luggage was still in the room. When I made the reservation there were multiple rooms available. The hotel wanted to send us to a sister property but we refused.

Great location. Room was okay and enough as we only needed it for one night. Pretty old and run down though. Only two towels in the room and no extra toilet paper. The staff at reception made up for it all though as they were incredibly friendly, kind and helpful! It was a breeze to have them arrange a car for us to get to the airport that arrived exactly on time to pick us up.

No idea how this was 9.2 score I fell for it too

Our flight was delayed so we arrived late, if someone asleep in reception counts as 24hr desk service then once we woke him up there was no problem. No room key just a door code that probably doesn’t change. Safe in room Other peoples hair left in bed. Floor broken in places. All taps and showers ran yellow intermittently. Sleeping fully clothed type place. Mosquitoes in room on arrival, balcony door didn’t lock and couldn’t find remote for air con. Stained toilet seat It is not a spa - offers massage nearby. Breakfast is not even on site. Scam No idea how this was 9.2 score I fell for it too

Room was very nice with a balcony and a wonderful view of Hoan Kiem Lake. All staff were extremely courteous and helpful. We got in quite late and were able to get a late check in with no issues. We even forgot a charging block and were able to borrow one from the front desk. Breakfast does end at 9:30 so we slept in a bit too late to make it, but there are many many many dining options around the hotel. After our check out we were able to keep our bags at the hotel while we explored Hanoi old quarter. The hotel is at a really good location for walking around and exploring the old quarter, nice and central. We were also able to get a airport transfer through the hotel, which went very smoothly.
