"This was a warm and inviting space. CC even offered me breakfast. I was a single woman in for a class reunion and had be somewhere on Sat and Sunday mornings. It was lovely coming back to relax and read. The space is small perfect for a couple with a young person. The patio over looks the river. The house is on a cul-de-sac perfect for strolling around the neighborhood. Very quiet and safe. Well lit path at night to the back, private entrance. Small fridge but holds a lot. "The owner was very responsive and kind. The apartment was very clean and well updated. We are older adults and the access to the basement apartment was a bit of a challenge but the owner did graciously help with our luggage. The family does clearly disclose that they live above the unit and sounds of children may be heard. Between the sounds of the family above and the fact it’s a basement, not a “Loft”, with all the plumbing just above your head - it was not for us. "

"When we rented this property, it was listing as a cabin. It is not a cabin. It is a room and bathroom in someone's house. By definition, that is not a cabin. It seems the owners live right above the rental. The rental is also situated closely to a number of neighbors. When we stayed, there was a half sunken boat on the docking ramp and a kayak filled with dirty water on the side of the house. This was despite the listing saying there is boating on premises.
