"There’s a few things that I must emphasize that made the Lennon cabin a great experience. We stayed there to celebrate my daughter’s first birthday, as a family. The house was great, comfy, clean and cool. Firstly ,the nespresso machine made me feel rich and the coffee was amazing! The hot tub was definitely a bonus and we watched the playoffs while relaxing. We brought some steaks and were able to use the grill (on the beautiful back deck) but the local food was good too. Kev’s bbq (5 min away)...

"Sean, We had the best year of fishing in over a decade. The property is awesome, and access to the water is easy. One silly item would be more hooks on the wall to hang clothing. Also, I wasn't sure how to turn on the baseboard heater in the bedroom. I turned on the bathroom and left the door open."

Too early for river sports but there’s plenty of hiking in the area’s many parks, easy access to services with a walk across the bridge to Callicoon (market, restaurants, movie theatre, a few shops) or just be still to watch the eagles fishing for hungry babes in the nest above, river ducks and geese, and small drifting boats with fly fishing folks. "We were in town to visit relatives just a few miles away. My group of 4 adults shared this space. The house was adequate for our needs. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. My only negative was that the living room space was small and we had to gather in a bedroom to watch TV. We will definitely return to this home."

"We had a wonderful two night stay at The Rex! I loved the stylish design aesthetic of the hotel and the attention to detail. We were there for the eclipse, and we appreciated that they left us a welcome gift with eclipse glasses and a cute little reusable tote. Each room has their own fire pit, and we made s’mores each night. We hiked allover Promised Land State Park which was accessible on-site at The Rex. We plan to go back! "

"The property was clean, checking in and out was easy. We wish we would have known that the bedrooms were as small as they were (the bed is too small for two adults), more blankets on the beds would be good too. Also, propane tanks were empty as a result we couldn't grill or use the outside fireplace (that was a bummer). However, would consider renting it again!"

"This was the perfect house for us to be together on my parents 30th anniversary. The layout of spacious with various rooms for people to socialize and hang out in. The beds are so comfy, everything is clean. And the game room was certainly a highlight! We had a great time and thank you to the owners for being so responsive!"

"This cabin was just what we were looking for! Beautiful views, lots and LOTS of space to run around, easy access to trails and so peaceful. We took the advice of the guide and visited Chet’s Place for dinner and visited the nearby lake. Both were great. My family and I had the most wonderful time and would love to return! 10/10 - would recommend!"

"We stayed here to celebrate birthdays and Mother’s day. The house was clean, gorgeous and nicely decorated with natural wood features. Took pics for myself to go shopping 😃. The hosts Nathan and Kara we awesome, they made sure we had a smooth check in and was available right away if we had questions. The kids enjoyed the lower level space - it was equipped with a huge Tv, games and foosball table. The parents got to have their private space and enjoy a nice dinner in the dining area. Overall...

"I booked 3 nights here with my significant other for her birthday. The cabin is very cozy, it has a great atmosphere with great views around the property. The hot tub was a very nice touch along with the board games and outdoor games. 10/10 will come back again! Zero complaints."

"We had an amazing weekend. The house is a bit outdated, but we were there to be outside. There is another rental connected to the A-frame. The walls are very thin, but we didn't mind at all. (We're used to the loud city). They have their own fire pit and outdoor section in the back yard. "Need a place to stay while my daughter and I attended a camp nearby. the location was convenient to town and there were perks to the apartment including a pool, it was rather dirty. Lots of insects (not because it was in the mountains but because of caretaking). It was rather dirty, enough that my kids commented on that. It also had some rather easy repairs that were needed yet left undone. The apartment smelled of weed in certain areas which was a turnoff."
