“Our family had a great weekend stay here and would definitely book a return trip. The location was ideal for relaxing and being in nature while still providing enough activity to keep three teenagers happy. We enjoyed tubing the river, swimming in the pool (perfect temperature), and catching numerous fish in the pond. Just as perfect as the camping and activities are the hosts, Ray and Melissa. “This hotel and the whole town of Mason City was a happy surprise. The property has been beautifully, painstakingly maintained/restored with nearly every detail impeccably Frank Lloyd Wright. (that also means there are fewer outlets, etc. than you'd expect in a modern build.) Bed was comfy, staff was very accommodating, good dining options within walking distance, nice balcony overlooking the park, so bring a bottle of wine. Kudos to the folks who made this such a great and authentic-feeling……
