“The mattress was really soft.Not good for me”

“The rooms were clean but the daily refresh of he room (stayed 4 nights)was limited. I had fresh towels everyday but garbage was not taken out day to day, Kleenex was not refilled after running out, paper coffee cups were not replenished day to day. the bed spread and blankets were pulled up but the bed was not "made". These are all something we are used to from other hotels but was not a "requirement".”

“Never ever take this hotel.....it's the most disgusting hotel that we ever stay before!! I even got itching after sat on the couch! By the way, we'ad booked for 4 nights for 2 rooms , but the front desk sent us an invoice and asked us to check-out (paid everything upfront)on the 4th morning; although we're more than happy to leave it, but who is going to return me the difference?”

“Old and Dingy”

“Tub drain was plugged! Calf deep in water after shower! Soap wrapper was empty at the vanity! Room smelled like dog! Stay away for this motel!”

“Clean and modern. Good price (at the time). Offers simple yet effective breakfast. Lot's of food choices close by.”

“Wonderful old house gives you the classic Mason City feel. Appointed beautifully, host was fantastic cook and excellent in all ways Would do this again in an instant”

“The front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. He moved a fily with a barking dog to a different part of the hotel. He also, when we had trouble with the remote for the TV came and helped us manage finding TV stations.”

“Hot breakfast was AWESOME. Had trouble with the key card would not open the door. Staff tried with different cards, no luck. Staff reset the system everything worked. Still was frustrating. Overall ADEQUATE. 3.5- 4 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Bad odor. Old and some broken furniture. Bad area. Checked five days early and went to a much nicer place.”

“On the good side the motel was very quiet. The breakfast was very good. Our room had 1 towel one wash cloth and one towel 1 small bar of soap. The shower head was pulled out of the wall. The ceiling fan and light were on 1 switch. Noisy fan running any time the light was turned on. The front side of the ceiling light was pulled out of the ceiling. Only got clean towels if we went to the desk dirty towels were not picked up waste baskets were not emptied. Seat on toilet was loose was fixed (?)……

“Hot tub and pool closed and wasn’t notified. Building needs work outside. Parking lot needs striped. Smoking area should not be so close to entrance.”
