While downtown Kona was sweltering in the heat, it was nice and cool on the mountain. I miss hearing the coqui frogs at night! The hosts leave lots of beach gear for your use - beach chairs, an umbrella, a boogie board, snorkels, a cooler, beach towels, etc., which is incredibly nice for those of us who fly in!
