“The cottage is absolutely lovely, very clean and well equipped. It is right in the village so you can walk to the shops, pubs and cafes easily. Grassington is a lovely village with beautiful scenery, we only stayed for a few days but it is now on my list to come back and stay again! ”

“Not quite as it looked in the advert . The outside table and chairs give the impression you can sit out in a courtyard ..it's actually the drive up to the other property's . The next property was occupied by seven lads on a stag weekend who all came in there cars , therefore nowhere to park for our two cars .the weekend was also marred by the taxi turning up at the lads accommodation with a young lady in what can only be described as as nurses outfit and heels ... Not what we expected when we...

“The house was clean and the kitchen fairly well equipped. There was no welcome pack, the cupboards were bare, not even salt or pepper. The third family bathroom with a shower/bath was not functional as there was no water pressure. Towels were adequate, no hand soap in the bathrooms, sheets were clean. We enjoyed our stay mainly thanks to the location, but with a little thought and a small amount spent, we would have felt more welcomed and more at home. The third bathroom needs to be fixed....

“For a variety of reasons, we had to delay any trip until a couple of days before the bank holiday. Additionally many places accepting pets restrict it to dogs and we have a house cat who we had to bring. Most areas had nothing left, for a short weekend break or prices were into the thousands. However we struck lucky in finding Doal's Farm. Owner Paul was fantastic in his speedy responses, confirming availability, acceptance of cats and fitting in with some personal restrictions we placed on...

“We stayed for a week in February and didn’t want to leave. The Cottage is a home away from home and has everything we needed and much more. The kitchen had everything needed for us to cook each day. The log burner was a special treat. Great WiFi and TV, very comfortable bed and nice and warm central heating. Neil and Sharon were fantastic hosts and we really enjoyed their advice and friendly chats! Can’t wait to return!”
