"We enjoyed a great week here in the area for the first time. The property met all our expectations and was a lovely base for activities in the area. We had some conversation with the host before our stay, checking a couple of things and responses were what you would hope for. The house is very comfortable with everything we needed for a good week's holiday - would be a super family base as well - the little beach opposite is a constant pleasure to see and pop over to for an outdoor coffee, etc."

"This wonderful cozy cottage was the perfect location for our highland adventures. Easy to find, but out of the way! The home is nicely laid out. As Americans, use appliances,outlets, etc. differently . it would have been helpful to have critical switches labeled. For example we inadvertently turned off the kitchen refrigerator by turning its switch off. This switch was located along the wall, above the counter in the same places the light switched were located."

I was a little concerned about the bothies based on earlier reviews but we all loved it. "8 of the family joined us to hike up Munro's - annual event we will be back. On arrival we had a big storm that generated water under the front door, which flooded the dining room, the IGLOO team immediately responded and came in to clean up the flash flood. That night and came back in the morning to do a deep clean of the dining room. We would recommend this property as a great base. They offered to move us but this wasn't needed thank you for your great support."
