"This property is why I love to travel. If you're coming to Belize, you should absolutely stay here at least a couple nights. The pictures don't do it justice - you feel like you're on an adventure while you're on site, and it's just a cool atmosphere and experience. A true jungle getaway, the cabins are simple but beautiful, with local art and very comfortable bedding and great water pressure in the shower. The property is stunning - surrounded by nature, with huge trees and palms and a great layout, including two different places to swim in the creek, a hiking area, dining room, and play area including an amazing large carved chess set. And then the staff - they are all so lovely and friendly and welcoming, using our names with care and really demonstrating what local hospitality can be. We ate breakfast and dinner on the property both nights/mornings of our stay, and the food was delicious, flavorful, and fresh. The highlight of the trip was sitting on our back patio at night, looking up at the stars and listening to the jungle. 10 of 10 would recommend and will hopefully return here one day!"

"I am glad I was able to end my vacation at the gecko bungalow. Michelle made sure that everything was taken care of with the multiple shuttles to and from the airport. The bungalow was an oasis and I was very glad to get to experience it with my first trip to Belize. Michelle and Scott made it feel like another home away from home. "We spent our honeymoon here and loved it. There is beautiful hikes, pool, river, and Mountain View’s everywhere you look. We arrived late and they left us flowers in our room. We only ate breakfast at the hotel but it was amazing! Already planning when we can go back. Beautiful location, friendly staff and surrounded by nature. We did the horseback riding tour with Cesar and really enjoyed it, all the horses were super well behaved and riding through the mountains was a dream come true."
