The first night was great, (other than getting bitten up) and then we woke up and made breakfast and left for our hike. When we got back to the dome, i attempted to make dinner and realized the area surrounding our food bags was being infested with ants that were getting through the cracks where the wall met the floor....

"We had a great stay here! My husband and I stayed in the jail room, and it was just the right amount of space for the two of us, with one king-size bed and one bathroom. The price was great, and we loved having a nice view from the porch.I didn’t realize how close together all of the rooms were, but it really wasn’t a problem during our stay. We were there to hike in Big Bend, and the location was convenient and not too far away.Our room had a coffee maker and a small refrigerator. We also had the option to use the larger refrigerator in the dining hall, although we didn’t need to. Breakfast was a nice surprise and included cereal, bagels, muffins, and granola bars in the dining hall.Overall, it was a great place to stay, especially for the price, and we would definitely stay here again!"
