Our beautiful home sits on the beach! Guests will appreciate the sunshine, sand, and seashells just steps from our large, beautiful deck. The YOLO House is conveniently located on the beach 4.4 miles east of Surfside Bridge on Bluewater Highway. Surfside Village is a short 45 minute drive from downtown Houston. Lake Jackson, just 10 minutes away, provides guests additional recreation and resources such as a cinema, shopping, and dining options after a day at the beach.
The YOLO House boasts 4 bedrooms/4 bathrooms and can sleep twelve guests comfortably. Stylish and fun decor, The YOLO House provides the ultimate relaxation atmosphere. Washer and dryer are provided for guest use. Bedrooms One and Two are primary suites with private bathrooms. Bedrooms Three and Four have bunk beds that include a Twin Bed on top, Full Bed, and a Twin Trundle Pull-Out. All bedrooms have flat screen high definition televisions. The Family Room includes leather sectional, flat screen high definition television and a beach view. Kitchen and dining room have seating for twelve and an open floor plan. Beachfront deck provides a perfect entertainment area and dining or just relaxing on the amazing swing bed. There is a grill on the lower level for guests to use as well.

Please note we do not rent our home for parties nor do we accept inquiries for proms or any college or high school groups. Our property is marketed to families or mature adults who are looking for a place to relax and have fun in a responsible manner. OUR NON SMOKING policy is strictly enforced.

Wonderful beach location
Beach was very nice. Mosquitoes were hard to describe….swarms of locusts come close. Is you ran the gauntlet to get to the beach, it was worth it!!😁 We had a great restful vacation 💕

Overall nice stay
The location was great with a boardwalk right at the property. Beach was full of seaweed but didn’t bother the kids. The house was well laid out and comfortable for a party of 10. The was clean however we weren’t able to use the grill for our steaks because the grill was really filthy. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies except for steak knives, there were only a few. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful beach house!
Wow! This is a beautiful, clean home with a well-stocked kitchen. It is a great peaceful location that was perfect for our family gathering. It is just as described, with everything you need for a great beach vacation. We had relatives traveling from different locations and this place was just right for the family and kids we had. The owner responded quickly to our messages and was very helpful.

The four of us go to the beach every year. Rented the YOLO house and we’re wonderfully surprised at how clean and up to date the house is. It’s a great floor plan layout for the four of us and the open kitchen/dining/living room was so much fun for all of us to be together while we were all doing our own thing. The swing bed! FABULOUS! We will definitely be wanting to rent again.

Absolutely a repeat performance kinda stay
Where to begin? Nancy is so kind and communicative. The house is better than the pictures show, and the pictures show a great place! It’s excellent for families with multiple kids with all the sleep spaces and multiple bathrooms. The access to the beach is prime and the deck is excellent to hang out on, swinging on that day bed! Clean and great location
The layout of this house is really nice for sharing with friends. With 4 bathrooms nobody ever has to wait for a toilet or shower. The home is clean and well cared for. You can’t beat the location, front row, unobstructed views , nice covered deck and only a few steps to the beach. The host was easy to get in touch with and very responsive. We can’t wait to book our stay for next summer. This is will definitely be our first choice house when booking in Surfside.

Nancy was awesome! Very responsive. YOLO was in a great location and it was beautiful inside. It would be more convenient if it was a keyless entry but that wouldn’t deter us from staying here again! We had a great time! Love the bed swing on the front porch!

Best Family Texas Beach Vacay Hands Down
The YOLO house did not disappoint!! We had 4 adults, 5 children, and 3 infants with ample space. There are four bedrooms, three with their own private bath. The boys had their own bunk room and the girls had their own bunk room. Each room has a tv, but we spent so much of the day at the beach, they never got used. Every morning we set out some beach chairs to "claim our spot" right in front of the house! The beach was clean and safe and we left our things out all day as we went back and forth to the house for naps, meals, etc. The kitchen has so much counter and cabinet space! We brought food for our entire 5 day trip and we definitely used every square inch! There is plenty of plateware, silverware, bakeware, glassware, etc. The outside shower was a huge plus for cleaning all of the sand off of the kids before they went inside. There was also an additional hose on the upper deck for that last bit of sand! When we weren't down at the beach we spent a lot of time on the deck relaxing! I would say everyone's (kids and adults) favorite thing at the house was the giant porch swing! Truly, a great family vacation loaded with great memories! THANK YOU YOLO HOUSE!
