The Hotel Pontotoc was perfect. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and spacious. I will definitely return.

We checked in and found the room to be generally clean. However, when we went to use the sofa bed, we found debris and crumbs underneath the pull-out bed. Unfortunately, it was difficult to get a good night's sleep due to a significant noise issue that the hotel is apparently aware of, as earplugs and white noise machines are provided in every room. In addition, the sound of water running through the pipes continued throughout the night. This room was located on the second floor overlooking the alley. The next morning around 7:30 a.m., I called the only number available. Ahmad acknowledged that they were aware of the noise issue, although he seemed frustrated that my call had woken him. I explained that I had already had a long day of traveling and had been unable to sleep after arriving. To his credit, he relocated us to an available room on the third floor, which had a much better view and was free of the water pipe noise. Overall, our stay was satisfactory. The hotel has a very strict no-smoking policy, and smoking will trigger the alarm system. They also enforce quiet hours from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
