Fabulous Experience in Lisbon

The hotel has a perfect location, very convenient to access to all the shopping and dining areas. The hotel may not easy to find for the first time as the front door is not obvious, but you will love its location afterwards. Beware that the surrounding would be quiet after 8pm and homeless people may be found near the church. It is just 5-mins walk to Baixa-Chiado Metro Station and also close to the Elevator de Santa Justa and other must-visit spots. Staff are very helpful and informative. Hotel is modern and clean. Room is spacious and with a large bathroom. Just one drawback that the hotel is reformed from an old building that the lift is stopped on every other single floor i.e. 1st, 3rd and 5th floor, just in case if u stay on the 2nd floor, you need to walk downstairs.

Die Unterkunft ist leider ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen und nicht wirklich sauber. Im Zimmer lag überall Staub, vor allem auf den Möbeln und in den Ecken. Die Armaturen im Bad waren kaputt und sind auseinandergefallen, wenn man das Wasser aufdrehen wollte. Wasser war voller Ablagerungen. Aus der Dusche kam man dreckiger raus, wie man reingegangen ist. Das Haus ist extrem hellhörig – man konnte sogar hören, wenn im Nachbarzimmer die Vorhänge zugezogen wurden. Auch die Dusche hat ständig getropft, sobald im Nebenzimmer jemand geduscht hat. Direkt gegenüber war eine Baustelle, und nebenan fährt die Straßenbahn – der Lärm war die ganze Nacht über sehr störend. Insgesamt leider keine Unterkunft, in der man sich wohlfühlen kann, weshalb wir früher abgereist sind.

Posizione ottima. Molto scarsa la colazione e sopratutto la pulizia delle parti comuni. Accettabile la pulizia delle camere. In generale scarsa cura della struttura, che risulta molto trascurata. Personale gentile, ma poco qualificato.

The location is the best. Walking distance to main attractions. Price was affordable. The room is surprisingly big and clean. The Recepcionist (all of them) are very kind, professional and helpful. My room wasn’t ready bc I got to the hotel very early but I was able to leave my luggage at the hotel. I will recommend this hotel 100%.

Hotel in pienissimo centro, a 5 minuti a piedi di Praça do Comércio. La posizione è veramente strategica. La struttura è un po’ da rivedere, non è datata ma si vede che è stata usata molto con poca manutenzione. Personale veramente gentile e disponibile. In ogni caso rapporto qualità prezzo approvato.

We had a great stay at the 8 downtown. Our room was great and had everything we needed for our stay. Location was close to everything! We walked everywhere no problem. Would recommend and stay again.

This was a cute boutique hotel with spacious rooms and bathroom (as compared to other rooms in Europe). The staff was very helpful and accommodating. It was a very convenient location and very walkable to various dining and shopping options and also close to the metro.

Die Zimmer sind extrem ringhörig und die Türen müssen extrem laut zugezogen werden, damit sie schliessen. Weshalb es bei den umliegen Zimmern jeweils knallt wenn jemand das Zimmer verlässt.
