The location is good in Baixa district of Lisbon where many of the city's hotels, restaurants shopping and tourist attractions are. The staff are pleasant and helpful. One drawback is odours from the plumbing.

Pros: Great location - walking distance to metro, restaurants, & Praca do Comercio. The room & bathroom are big and clean. Cons: Elevator stinks & the floor is dirty. Had to walk up a short flight of stairs to my room. The carpet on stairs is dirty. Reception staff (female & male with nose piercing) are not friendly. The breakfast is terrible, food is literally rationed. Not worth it even though it's free.

We had a great stay. The 8 is a 3-minute walk from the Baixa-Chiado Metro station and an easy walk to many attractions. The staff were wonderful, offering suggestions for restaurants and where to get the best Pastel de Nata. We enjoyed the continental breakfast for €10.00 per person. We would definitely stay here again if we visit Lisbon in the future.

There is construction site next building so the noise start at 7am. But if you leave early in the morning and come back late evening it’s ok. Very good location. Walkable to most places.

Clean Good location in

Clean room in an old building. Don’t get a room in the 5th floor. Elevator only goes to the 4th floor so u have to carry ur bags up a narrow staircase. I hit my head on the ceiling. TV didn’t work. Otherwise everything is right outside ur door

Great hotel. The room was very spacious, modern, and clean. The bed was bigger than expected and lots of closet space. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. During a problem, they happily went full effort to help us. The hotel is located conveniently by a tram stop, a church, and many restaurants. It’s not in a crowded area which is also a plus.

The location is prime, right in the heart of Lisbon. The room was beautiful with amazing views however it lacked a coffee maker in the room, more charging ports in the restroom and near the bed and also a proper curtain in the restroom for privacy and bars of soap or shower gel

A property that was close to everything. The lift to go up to the castle was 20 metres from the door. Plenty of restaurants near by and close to public transport.

Great value, location, room and service

Great value right downtown on quiet side walk just two minute walk to main area of shops and restaurants. Spacious, very clean, light and bright room with bathtub (302). Elevator with some stairs. Smart, helpful staff (thank you Pedro for helping me with plane reservation.) I did not get the breakfast option nearby eateries abound. Right next to elevators that go up to the castle area saving you the climb. Highly recommended. I’ll be steying again when I pass back through Lisbon
