"We loved all the nooks made for sitting with friends. Great bar/dessert bar area. We grabbed two leather chairs next to a window. Ya gotta try the brownie cookie, cherry ice cream sandwich - freaking amazing!"

"Perfect hotel if you’re on a bike , all rooms on ground floor, you park your bike virtually 7 feet from the bed, super nice place , clean and even the grounds are nice, chairs & tables to sit on "

"Park View was an ideal location for our 4th of July visit to Williamsburg. It’s a short walk to the square and a quick drive to the areas outside of town such as the outlets and Landmark restaurant. The property was very clean and had bedding to outfit our family of 7 (we had a last minute addition who was easily accommodated). We hope to return to this property on a future trip to the Iowa City area. "

"Strong storms passed through the area just when we arrived, and in less than 2 hours after checking in, the power went out (it was a city wide and much of a nearby large city that was affected). Our host brought a lamp and a flashlight right away, and then ran a power cord from his emergency generator to us in a separate structure - in order to run the frig, air conditioner and to charge our phones. It resolved about an hour later, so all was good. The unit was nicely decorate, clean and secure. We did have a 2-day learning curve for the hanging barn doors, but managed ;) Ample treats, games and DVDs were provided. We would definitely stay there again when visiting family."
