“Easy access parking. Staff on site very helpful, room was clean and AC kept up even with the severe heat wave it was very refreshing after being outside all day.”

“I always enjoy staying at hotel Millwork- centrally located, unique transformation of an old woolen mill into a modern hotel. This stay was overall good. 4/5 only because they’re one option for breakfast, which is their restaurant, was not operational the morning I left because apparently the waitress didn’t show up. There were very few other options in the Amana‘s for breakfast and the staff really had no solution to the problem. Otherwise, a good stay.”

“The front desk asked us to call hotel.com to solve some system problems for them. It was your job not us, we were just guests! I stood at the front desk for almost 30 mins doing nothing Just because its problem in the hotel! ”

“We love Die Heimat. It’s close to everything Amana and is just a short drive to Iowa City and Cedar Rapids. Karin provided excellent care for us and made sure we had everything we needed. We felt at home at the Inn. The area is peaceful and beautiful. Highly recommend stay here 😊”

“Hotel was worn out. Room had stains in carpet, and mattresses were squeaky. Wood surfaces in the elevator were worn and damaged. Overall the property just looks work out and needs an update.”

“A Good Hotel”

“The sheets had hair in them and brown stuff. The shower was not clean. There was no microwave. The breakfast was SUPER cold. The pool was not only cold but not clean. There was water all over the pool floor and hair. It looked like it hadn’t been cleaned. I was not able to check in at 2:30, even though I called a day prior to arriving to ask for an early check in. The lady told me 10 minutes upon arrival but I ended up waiting over 45 minutes for a room. I ended up leaving the next day,……

“Our room was clean and the accessories were fine. The only negative I found was the trash receptical at the outdoor gazebo was overflowing,. Other than that parking was adequate and the facility as very nice.”

“The room was small, even though there were only two of us … but we knew that before booking. We chose this hotel because of its competitive price and its location. The bed was comfortable and the room, halls and grounds were clean. Initially we were concerned about noise as a large sounding dog was barking every time we passed by it’s room, and we could hear voices in the adjoining room.
