"We hosted my boyfriend’s 30th birthday here- and it was perfect! The different sleeping locations allowed all of our groups of friends to comfortably relax and spread out. We all took a short drive to Pedernales for a hike (40ish minutes), but spent most of our time enjoying the property. The pool, hot tub, game room (No AC but they provided great fans!), multiple kitchens and bathrooms made hosting a large crowd easy. Plus, all of the beds were comfortable! Hosts were great when we asked questions but also gave us plenty of privacy and trust which we appreciated! Everyone at the party said that we created a “core memory”, so thank you!"

"Great place to unwind with the family and enjoy the outdoors. Dealing with the management company is a bit of a pain: you pay a booking fee with VRBO, but the remaining balance via the management company's app. It doesn't always work, requiring some back-and-forth via their message system. At the time of booking, you're basically agreeing to full time monitoring by the company, but I only saw a single outdoor camera while staying. The home is great but could use a little TLC. Some amenities like the fireplace and outdoor shower weren't functional at the time of my visit. The mattresses may be a bit overdue for replacement, some of the blinds need a bit of repair, and the main bedroom fan remote was missing with the speed locked to "hurricane mode." The lower recreational area needs a bit of a cleanup as well with some maintenance on the equipment. The positives definitely outweighed the negatives: amazing view, quiet location, with a lot of activities to keep the family engaged. "

"I was looking to escape the city but not too rural. This was the place for me. As soon as the gate opened i could feel my mind clearing. "Grounds are really well kept and maintained. We enjoyed the outdoor space where we grilled steaks, played cornhole, mini golf, viewed antique structures and just explored the property. It was close to Inks Lake state park and Longhorn Caverns which were 2 places we went to visit. HEB grocery was also close. The bathhouse showers were big and very clean. If you are looking to unwind in a great little cabin with no tv but excellent wifi than this is the place!"
