First off the Essenhaus was more affordable than many other hotels in the area & it was Labor Day weekend. The hotel was spotless & had all the amenities we needed! The continental breakfast is much better than most similar hotels. Our beds were comfortable & will definitely stay again!

We stayed for one night and had a great experience. The staff was helpful and kind, the property clean and well-maintained, and the breakfast was delicious. We loved the atrium space, and the little covered porch area. We had a great stay.

The room was very clean and you didn't feel crowded. The staff were very kind and helpful. The breakfast was good and the staff there were very helpful and friendly. The restaurant was exceptional! A place I would visit over and over!

First, the grounds (property) is breathtaking. The staff is very professional and courteous. The rooms were very nice. I must also say, my grandkids enjoyed the swimming pool and the horse and buggy ride with Elmer and Terry(the horse).

Place was very clean. Large property to enjoy and building was far enough away from the main highway that road noise was not an issue. Rooms were much larger than normal hotel rooms. Comfortable bed. The heating and A/C worked better than any other place I have stayed in. Breakfast was decent with coffee and hot chocolate available all day. Nice place to stay!

The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean spacious, breakfast had many choices from hot dishes to cereal, donuts fruit something for all. Breakfast staff was there to make sure food was available. The grounds were amazing shops restaurant bakery within walking distance also walks around the grounds were safe and beautiful. Many people told us they come here every year this will be our first choice always. For all employees be proud of yourself you make this a truly enjoyable stay thank you all

Clean, comfortable, staff is wonderful, grounds are beautiful. Breakfast is very nice with a lot of variety of foods. Only issue was the high humidity in the pool and hot tub area. It was very difficult with asthma to stay in the room very long. Could use more ventilation.

We have stayed there numerous times. The rooms are gorgeous, very clean, and well maintained. The complimentary breakfast is always delicious. One stay occurred between Thanksgiving and Christmas. The place was beautifully decorated. We have NEVER been disappointed with anything while there. Your stay will alwasy be calm, relaxing, and quiet. Beautiful and well maintained grounds as well. We would recommend this place to everyone.

Beautiful property, and so clean and comfy room. I will be back. Breakfast was nice and fresh and balcony view overlooked some of the beautiful property. Such a relaxing time. Love this area. We felt pampered. Loved the bakery and beautiful restaurant on the property.
