“The Guest House in Carthage is your basic 1960’s Motel that has been renovated with updated interiors and a good kiss of maintenance on the outside. Everything was clean. Nothing was particularly special, but it was what I needed near the end of a long motorcycle journey. The gentleman who checked me in was professional, kind, and polite, even lending me his carport to protect my bike from the elements and provide a modicum of security. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it……

“A place to stay but not more; towel left behind the door, hair in the tub, sink cracked, hole in the carpet, TV remote not working, floor lamp not working, gutter running over on sidewalk, breakfast not ready, OJ watered down. HVAC blows drapes out. musty odor....”
